The essence of his teaching is to meet your body where it is on the day, and truly value the investment you make in your own health and well being. He gets to know his students, and can help by offering modifications if you have an injury or limitation. Even though I’ve been practicing Yoga for over 10 years, I’ve gained confidence and learned a great deal from taking his classes. I feel both relaxed and invigorated after every class.

The benefits I derive from from Peter’s yoga classes are immeasurable. I leave each class (be it via zoom or in person) with a wonderful sense of well-being and calm.

In 2018, when I first joined the West Vancouver Seniors Activity Centre, I soon heard about their popular yoga instructor, Peter Baragon. When I mentioned wanting to try one of his classes, the response was an eye rolling “Good luck”. Peter’s classes, I soon learned, were always totally full. Existing class members got first dibs on the new season of classes and they invariably beat out any newcomers. It was months before I finally managed to get into Peter’s wildly popular Yoga Movement class.
It didn’t take long before I understood the strong demand for his classes. Peter’s teaching style is relaxed, caring and focused. He gently guides more than instructs and his classes are lighthearted and informative - a magical combo.

After I had an accident and broke my pelvis, I needed extra help to learn how to walk again, and find my strength once more . I feel very lucky that Peter is prepared to give me private lessons. I have come a long way, but there is still lots of work to be done to be back where I once was! But, with every week, I make progress thanks to Peter,s amazing ideas how to motivate and encourage me! I am extremely thankful that Peter came into my life and is ready to help me with a difficult task!
